For a seamless presentation, close any unnecessary applications before joining the meeting. Window lets you share a specific application or screen of your choosing. PowerPoint lets you deliver a presentation. Choose this option if your assignment is to deliver a PowerPoint presentation or an academic poster. Whiteboard lets you write, sketch, and collaborate in more visual way. After you select what you want to share, a red border surrounds what you’re sharing.

Watch the ‘Share your screen’ video. Share a PowerPoint file Need to share a PowerPoint presentation or an academic poster as a piece of assessed work? Join the scheduled meeting via Teams. From the Meeting control bar, click the ‘Share’ button.

Locate your presentation under the PowerPoint category. If you cannot see the file you need, select the ‘Browse’ link to find it on your device. Click on the file to start sharing the PowerPoint file. The file will open in seamlessly in viewer mode, ready for your audience. As presenter, you are now in control.
